About The Cholesterol Code
The Cholesterol Code is a 105‑minute feature documentary that begins with one man’s health journey and opens into a global investigation of everything we think we know about cholesterol, low‑carb diets, and heart disease. When engineer and citizen scientist Dave Feldman reverses his pre‑diabetes on a low‑carb diet—only to be warned that his sky‑high LDL could spell disaster—he starts asking harder questions about decades of medical dogma, profit‑driven healthcare, and whether we’ve been fearing the wrong enemy.
My family and I are among the real stories in the film. Sharing our experience with metabolic strategies—especially around mental health—was both vulnerable and hopeful, and being part of this documentary is my way of helping others discover that they’re not alone in wondering if there might be better options. If you’re curious, skeptical, or simply ready to see the science and human stories side by side, this is an opportunity to lean in and explore a different narrative together.
Because I work with Metabolic Collective, it felt natural to connect this film with the work we’re doing to support individuals and families using metabolic therapies for psychiatric and neurological conditions. Our team focuses on peer‑led communities, amplifying lived experience, and expanding access to these approaches. If The Cholesterol Code resonates with you, supporting Metabolic Collective is one meaningful way to help more people find information, community, and hope.
